I also had to add a Wi-Fi range extender as it needs to have a strong Wi-Fi connection. I noticed that the time of day the reading is taken has changed several times since I installed it. A company representative told me the monitor takes a reading one time in a 24-hour period and then transmits it to a cloud hosted by Tank Utility.
