“Taal volcano is rapidly building a new cone southwest of Volcano Island on the southeastern slope of the 600-foot-high crater created by last year’s eruption in Kaygabok. The conelet is now about 200 feet high. The cone’s lava front advanced further into the 1966 collapsed lake on the Northeast.
