Interesting fact is the Bush family were fairly well acquainted with the Hinckley family, both Texas oilmen. One of the Bush sons had actually been scheduled to meet up with one of John Hinckley’s brothers the day of or day after the shooting. Surely just a coincidence. Another fact was that there was little or no investigation into the shooting.
