Lauren Opal Boebert (/ ˈ b oʊ b ər t / BOH-bərt; née Roberts, December 15, 1986) is an American politician, businesswoman and gun-rights activist serving as the U.S. Representative for Colorado’s 3rd congressional district since 2021. A member of the Republican Party, she is the first woman to represent her district, which covers the western part of the state, in Congress.
