Ezra Walian, now 23, played in the same legendary Jong Ajax side as Donny van de Beek and Abdelhak Nouri, helping the team to become O17’s Eredivisie champions and finishing as the competition’s top scorer with 28 goals. In 2016 however he left Ajax after his contract was not extended. The limited amount of playing time really got to him.
