Reality Leigh Winner (born December 4, 1991) is an American former intelligence specialist. In 2018, she was convicted of “removing classified material from a government facility and mailing it to a news outlet”. She was given the longest sentence ever imposed for unauthorized release of government information to the media: five years and three months in prison.
