I usually wear a 1.5 bridle leather belt with my jeans. But lately it seems to look too wide. I think for 2018-19 a thinner 1.25 looks more normal. This is exactly what I wanted: solid leather, bridle style. I end up buying a black and dark brown because these look so good. NOTE: one review mentioned that this wasn’t a true Timberland product.
