The annual inflation rate in Ukraine slowed down to 8.4 percent in April of 2021 from 8.5 percent in the previous month and below market expectations of 8.6 percent. Prices eased for food (9.4 percent vs 10.4 percent) and healthcare (6.2 percent vs 7.4 percent) while clothing & footwear cost declined at a faster pace (-4.6 percent vs -0.5 percent).
