United States Consumer Price Index (CPI) | Moody’s Analytics – economy.com

Consumers got more relief than expected on the inflation front in November. The consumer price index rose 0.1%, slightly less than our below-consensus forecast. This comes on the heels of back-to-back 0.4% gains in September and October. The CPI for energy was down 1.6% after rising 1.8% in October. Within energy, the CPI for gasoline dropped 2%.
