What does everyone use for weather in X-Plane? There is a fix for this problem in the latest beta update – 12.1.3. You may want to try if this helps. Other than that I think most people use the default weather. While not perfect, the time of where you needed a third party weather add-on to make it halfway realistic are gone, imho.
